Shannon Lawrence MPCC/RPC
With over 35 years of experience working alongside children, youth, families, and individuals, I bring deep knowledge in parenting strategies, behavioral support, and guiding clients through life’s many transitions.
My 18 years in school districts have fueled a strong passion for advocating for children whose needs may otherwise go unnoticed or unmet.

As a Neuro-Affirming Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling (MPCC)—formerly known as a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC) and in good standing with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association (CPCA)—I am committed to providing compassionate, professional, and personalized support. My training spans Play Therapy, Grief Counselling, Family Counseling, NeurOptimal Neurofeedback Certified, and a variety of specialized modalities, all backed by an ongoing dedication to continuous learning so I can offer my clients the best possible care.

I offer specialized lens for people in life who are trying to navigate their brains with ADHD/ADD, as I am trained as a ADHD- CCSP. (ADHD-Certified Clinical Service Provider). With this, I bring a wealth of knowledge of the struggles and inhabitation that ones mind might be struggling with.

I know that every person’s story is unique, and I honour the courage it takes to reach out for help. In my practice, I integrate a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Attachment Theory. I also provide neuro-affirming support for neurodivergent clients, ensuring that differences are not just accepted, but embraced.

My counselling office is a warm, inviting, and non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and feel heard. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for healing, growth, and self-discovery.
If you are ready to take the next step, I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey toward personal growth, resilience, and a renewed sense of self-worth.
